So far, the cool season had lasted not more than a mere 2 days sometime in early November. Since then, "winter" in Bangkok has yet to make a re-appearance.
There is something about the cool season in Bangkok towards the end of the year which contributes to that holiday feeling. It seems almost non-existent this month as it seems to be humid all around, which was completely unexpected. I even cautioned my parents who came for a visit recently to bring sweaters in anticipation for the shiokadoo cool season. What a shame though...they never did get to experience the cool season we have been raving about here at this time of the year. The time of the year was perfect for a visit, but the weather has gone bonkers!
Rather unusual for year end I must say.What a bummer of a weather this holiday season!
