Caramel Croissant Pudding

Watching Nigella on Discovery Travel & Living last night put some sinful thoughts in my head. I like how she creates express meals and desserts, with a lot of LUST to go with it! Just watching her devouring her Caramel Croissant Pudding creation is enough to push me over the edge of making my own pudding. Thanks to her, the mere image of the darn pudding has been occupying my mind since last night and for the whole of today!

I am weak-willed when it comes to food and I do enjoy the occasional traditional English bread and butter pudding. So, armed with ingredients, I followed her recipe (minus the bourbon) and started making the pudding at 11.30 p.m. So easy to make, so simple, so quick and oh-so-heavenly for a late night supper. Doesn't that just look so very decadent for a late night munchies?
There was a reason why I stopped baking for more than 2 years already...

My friend throws in dried fruit like diced apricots, cherry, raisins etc in her bread pudding. Yum-o :p" Actually can add whatever tickles your fancy. How about different types of nuts? Pumpkin seed, almonds, sunflower seed, cashew nuts etc? Spied one recipe that uses cinnamon and raisins or dates. Yummilicious!!!
