I've always participated and enjoyed the International Film Festival in Singapore years ago. Each time, I'd spend quite a bit of dough to catch a minimum of at least 5 movies, watching a couple of movies a day on a weekend, or whenever the movie was being screened. The thing with movie fest and guided only by a brief synopsis, you never really know what kind of movie you are gonna end up with. It's always a mystery as most don't really make it big on the cinema screens. Sometimes though, you just get lucky and catch yourself a really, really good film.
It's looking like we are gonna be spending most of our time at the theatres this weekend. Exciting times ahead to the world of the unknown, costing us only 1000 baht for 10 tickets altogether! That's really only a fraction of what I'd be paying back in Singapore! Life's sweet for movie buffs out here.
