Dexter

Would you root for a serial killer? Seriously. Think about it. Probably not.

With Dexter though, you might just change your mind. It is intriguingly dark, twisted and just gripping. Dexter Morgan is essentially a Miami-based blood spatter analyst. Nothing wrong in that, except that he is also a serial killer by night. He doesn't just kill anyone. He only kills if they are killers. He would also stake out killers who somehow managed to beat the judicial system. It is all for a good cause in making the world a better place. Or is it? On one hand, he definitely is a killer, yet, he only eliminates the really bad guys. To top it all, he is smart, appears nice almost all the time, makes people laugh and good with children. So where do you draw the line to not like him? That's what makes this series worth watching...it's hard to categorize the black or white. His narratives throughout the series are pretty hilarious, reflecting his inner voice when he is subjected to the different circumstances in his day job working for the Miami Police. Each episode is just intense.

The irony of it all. Here's a nice serial killer working for the police department. You will be on the edge of your seat hoping that he will not get caught each time he kills. Trust me. You'd actually cheer for him. And as it turns out, his boat which he uses to dispose the dead, bears the same name with my blog. Well, not that it means anything.
Get your hands on this if you can. It's too cool to be missed. Can't wait for Season 4.
